Notecards with Matching Tote

This was a fun little project to make using the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set from Stampin' Up! The Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set has quickly become one of my favorites because of its versatility. You can use with embossing, watercolore and creating one of a kind backgrounds. This tote holds 3"x3" notecards. The Flight of the Butterfly stamp set from Stampin' Up! was also used in this project.

June's Featured Project - A Bargello Card and Coordinating Favor

This Month's Feature Project is a Bargello Card and coordinating mini milk carton. Bargello is actually a needlepoint and quilting technique that can be easily applies to striped Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper. A Bargello pattern is made by simply cutting striped paper into varying widths and then staggering them to make a new pattern. Making a Bargello Card is also a great way to use scraps of left over paper.

This was a really fun card to make and didn't take as much time as I thought it would. This card used the Four Square Stampin' Up! stamp set along with the Stampin' Up! Birds and Blooms Sizzix dies as well as the Stampin' Up! Mini Milk Carton die.

Thinking of You Using Stampin' Up! Fifth Avenue Floral Set

I hope everyone is have a great week! This was a really fun card to make. I used Stampin' Up! watercolor pencils to color in the rose from the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set. I also used the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set for the greeting. Monochromatic cards are one of the easiest and quickest cards to make because you don't have to try to decide what colors to mix and match. A monochromatic card can also make an impressive impact. Have a great Friday!

Accordian Folded Seed Packet Card

I have been wanting to make an accordian folded card for quite some time now. My uncertainty as to how I wanted to embellish the card is what prevented me from making it earlier. My imagination was sparked one day while getting my garden supplies at the local home improvement store this spring. I was inspired by the aisle with all of the seed packets. I thought a card containing multiple packets of seeds would make for a unique card and gift. This project used the Upsy Daisy and Heard from the Heart Stampin' Up! stamp sets.

Dream Garden Card with Coordinating Tea Bag Holder

I had a great this card and coordinating tea bag holder. I used the Dream Garden stamp set from Stampin' Up!. I bought the Stampin' Up! Dream Garden stamp set a few months ago and was unsure how I was going to use the set. However, the stamp set was just too cute and I had to buy it. After several weeks, I finally came up with this card layout and coordinating tea bag holder design.

The tea bag holder is a little booklet that opens and holds one tea bag. It was really easy to make and would make a great gift to someone who needs a little cheer!

Tri-Shutter Thank You Card

This was a really fun card to make! I have seen several other people make a card like this, but until now, I never had the courage to do so. Making this card was actually not as hard as I thought it would be. In fact, it was quite fun and a great way to show off my pretty Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper. I also got a chance to use my new Stampin' Up! embosslit "Beautiful Wings." This is really a fun card to make.

A Child's Birthday Card

Just like my previous card, I have never made a card like this either. I have never made a child's birthday card before. While making this card, I realized that I don't have a lot of supplies to make kid's birthday cards. I guess when I place my next Stampin' Up! order I'll have to order some stamp sets that I can use with kid's birthday cards.

The layout of this card  is very simple. I also used a repetition stamp technique. The repetition stamp technique involves stamping an image multiple times without re-inking your stamp. When you need a card quick, this is a great layout!

A Masculine Card....

This is my first attempt at a masculine card. Believe it or not, I have never made a masculine card before. While making this card, I realized that I didn't really have too many stamps that could be used on masculine cards. I also realized that I didn't have a lot of papers that could be used for masculine cards either.

Eastern Blossoms Scrapbook Layout

In honor of National Scrapbooking Month, here is a simple layout that will hold 5 - 4"x6" photos. This layout would be great to hold your spring flowers photos. I really like this layout because it has really cute and simple embellishments, but it won't take away the beauty from your photos!

Circle Circus Mother's Day Card

I had a great time making this card. I have had the Stampin' Up! Circle Circus stamp set since Christmas. However, I had not ever used the stamp set. This card layout would be great for multiple types of greetings and sentiments. The stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes from Stampin' Up!, makes this layout even more accomodating for any type of greeting. I hope my Mom likes this card as much as I do!

I made a few of these cards for friends that are soon to be married as well as a friend who just got engaged. My goal was to create a wedding card that was simple and elegant.
